My partner and I are non-monogamous, and he recently connected with a new partner sexually for the first time. He let me know later on that she had previously tested positive for HPV(was last tested around 2 years ago and hasn’t been with any new partners til now), though she has never been symptomatic.
I don’t know a lot about HPV, and have read mixed things about whether or not it can spread even while a person is asymptomatic, or if it can be spread through kissing. I’ve read that it can be more concerning for people who are immunocompromised, which I am, as is someone else I connect with.
Is it possible that I would be at risk of contracting HPV from kissing my partner in this scenario?
