To make a long story short, I’m about to attempt serious cunnilingus on my wife for the first time I’m 20 years. She has always said it “doesn’t do much for her” but we’re both thinking the advice in “She Comes First” may change that. So this question is for students of that book.
In describing the very first “kiss” the author says:
“Make your first lick a slow and tender “ice cream” lick from bottom to top. Make it long and lasting. Take it all in.”
But then as part of that “detailed” section he says:
“When you lick the full span of her vaginal entrance from top to bottom…”
And then,
“No matter what your approach, take it long and slow, from bottom to top, and savor every step of the journey…”
He then describes resting your flat tongue against her vulva after “the first kiss (that long full lick)”
My question… The “first kiss” is clearly a bottom-to-top move (he goes into great detail about every step of the way), and then says to rest your tongue at the end of “that first full lick”, so what’s up with that “top-to-bottom” mention in the middle? Was that a typo or is there a step where you work your way down before the flat tongue resting? It doesn’t help that he likes to use the words “kiss” and “lick” interchangeably.
Please, don’t just comment “you’re overthinking this” or “every woman is different”. I understand that it ultimately won’t be about following a specific script to the T, but this book is supposed to be the Bible of cunnilingus, and I really want to fully understand the specific technique being described here. Thanks!
