Why don't parents tell their kids not to interrupt during sex?

Post Body

This might be kind of a weird question however it popped into my head when I hear so many couples with children complain about how they can’t get a long moment to themselves. Especially at night and especially with young children .

Now I understand if you have a newborn or a very small baby. However once kids a child hits that toddler/speaking stage of about 3years old, I don’t understand, why a parent wouldn’t honestly just tell their child.

[Mom and dad need alone time (use the word sex if you’re comfortable) don’t come into our room and don’t interrupt us]

Particularly if it’s putting such a strain on their marriage; constantly kin keeping and not giving attention to such an important relationship.

I could really use some help understanding or another perspective on this.
