i've been perusing r/hypersexuality and it's been interesting; i've viewed my high libido as a result of childhood neglect and emotional abuse, as well as my having bipolar disorder, for most of my life. however, recently i've been seeing people talk about viewing it more as an orientation, as opposed to an illness or the result of one, so that they can live their lives a little less shamefully.
i want to explore this more thru books on the philosophy of sex, psychology of sex, or just about anything that'll give me an in on how to live my best life whilst also having a high libido; aside from repressing it and getting my sexual energy out thru my other passions.
