Avoiding the Cervix during posterior fornix stimulation

When a penis reaches a woman’s posterior fornix how does one avoid hitting or touching the cervix? I understand that the Uterus shifts at a certain arousal level, but does it fully move out of the way during intercourse or does the penis head rub against it? Also is any of this painful when done properly?
