does this chlamydia timeline make sense?

I 22M was seeing a girl 23F and actively having unprotected sex with her from the start of march to the beginning of may, so 2 months total. I developed chlamydia symptoms in late april/start of may, meaning that I didn't get symptoms until 6-7 weeks after the first time we had sex. does this make sense or could she have gotten it from someone else during us seeing eachother?
