I have a friction burn. How do I have a boner and wear pants at the same time?

I need to cuddle this girl while I wear pants. I might get a boner and this was cause the friction burn on the underside of my glans to get irritated
How do I protect this area? Do I just take breaks to apply lotion or is there some other method?
I'm thinking of putting plastic wrap but can't that foster bacteria?
