I am very shy and i have GAD. As a result ive never been in a relationship before and the idea of sex stresses me out. There is so much to worry about like pregnancy and STIs, idk how it could possibly be enjoyable. It sounds very nice but the risks seem so extreme. This is not even mentioning my family, if they found out i had sex with a girl i might get disowned and loose all support for college since they are religious.

Is it ok to just never have sex out of fear? Idk how i could possibly enjoy it and idk if id ever be responsible enough for it either since you have to be prepared for it to lead to pregnancy no matter how slim the chances right?
