I (20 ftm) have recently started wanting to do some hookups more to explore my sexuality a bit. More of a commitment person generally but i’d like to know what i like and dont like. That said one of my only hangups is safety. I feel safest in my own home but i dont want a one nighter if they wind up being unstable knowing where i live. That said going to someone else’s place can be equally scary.

For any people especially smaller people like myself (5’2”) who hook up a lot how do you keep safe while doing so?

I know sobriety and letting someone know where ill be is important but i really want know whats the best way to get a read on someone fairly quickly to know if they’re good for a quick one or might be more trouble than its worth.
