How do I take blood without fainting?
Hi all!
I am pretty serious about getting tested regularly eventhough I am in a stable relationship. We are however, in an open dynamic. I do find myself feeling very faint each time I take blood using the lancets provided. Just the thought of using the lancets makes me feel sick. It is not the sight of blood, rather the feel of the prick. This has only been and issue in the past 3 years.
What is the best way to mitigate this?
I use sh.uk test kits. They come with a few blue coloured lancets. I am tested Gonorrhoea, Chlamidyia, HIV and Syphilis with the latter two needing blood.
