Advice for improving dirty talk

My boyfriend loves dirty talk and frankly I suck at it. I need some tips on how to improve. Some of the issue is simply not knowing what to say like my brain goes blank. The other issue is I feel incredibly awkward and embarrassed even trying. We really want to get into role playing more which a large part of that will be dirty talk and I don’t want this cloud of horrible dirty talk to ruin it.
