To make some extra money in these crazy times I've been dabbling with trading vintage denim online.
Been going OK so far but have had to have a few key pieces hemmed by an expert. It's a bit pricey and am starting to think I need to do it myself. Are there only two ways to do it, by sewing machine or by hand?
I was thinking of getting one of those small hand held sewing machines but have been told they will not cope with denim.
Any other possible ways? I know hemming by hand will be hugely time consuming, and the idea of buying and learning to use a machine is very intimidating to me. I used a SM at school in my youth and it did not go well!
