i’m in the market for a machine that i can grow into. i’m a beginner looking to dabble with quilts and garments, and i’d like to be able to sew denim/canvas. the makes wish list includes jeans and duffel bags.
currently on facebook near me i can see a pfaff hobbymatic 917, serviced and ready to go, and a janome machine that google reverse image search tells me is a jd 1804. both are under $200.
i’ve sent a message about the pfaff machine already but i’ve heard janome also makes decent machines. which would you go for?
