hey all! i am working on a pair of cycling bloomer type pants for my upcoming wedding (one month left!!) and i am having some symmetry issues. the right pant leg has more volume than the left, and they are a bit uneven at the leg cuffs as well.
my thought is that i should replace the leg cuffs (i forgot to line them and they are kind of flimsy,) take the right leg in about an inch, and then try to gather the bottoms more evenly when i attach the new cuffs.
buttt i wanted to get a second opinion on how to fix these before i get to sewing. any ideas? i think i’ve got it figured out but i dont wanna mess these up as i dont have the time or materials to remake them.
i am not worried about finishing the waistband and closure on these as i am only wearing them once and it can be easily pinned and hidden under the bodice, so i only need advice on fixing my leg issue. thank you 🙏
the last two photos are the ones i took for reference, they show the issue pretty well
