Hello everyone!

Happy that I found this subreddit :)

So I found an old iPad 4 during a big cleanout at the weekend and of course it's activation locked to some mysterious email address that I cannot crack....

iPad 4 A1458 A6 with iOS 10.3.4.

MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.5 latest OS.

I installed Silver M1-6.2 from the main AppleTech752 website with all the dependencies in the shell generated file, homebrew etc. etc.

So I put the iPad in DFU mode, MacBook sees it as that, fire up Silver and do the "Enter pwned DFU" mode. That works.

Then, I load the M1 Ramdisk and it loads to the iPad. The iPad reboots and boots to the AppleTech752 loading black logo screen and then nothing happens.... just gets stuck on that screen :(

I then tried the "Relay Device Info" button as well as "Delete Setup.app" and nothing :(

I tried all the M1 version tools like Ramdisk and Checkra1n etc. and not getting past the stage where it should reboot after clearing the setup.app stuff and then activating with the tool.

On the official AppleTech752 website it states that in order to unlock an iPad 4 you need to use Silver 5.5 - well that doesn't work on the M1 MacBook. When I click on the "enter pwned DFU" button, nothing happens and screen on the app is just blank.

Any help guys ?

What am I doing wrong ?
