Is this correct word usage?
Post Body

So the word Iā€™m wanting to use is extrapolate. Iā€™m getting mixed things on it with just google search.

The sentence Iā€™m trying to use it for is ā€œbut to extrapolate on what I saidā€
What I said before was ā€œare you implying somethingā€ and the person wanted a more defined question.

So am I using the word right? I think of the words conclude and Infer which are strong synonyms and 1 definition I saw online was saying ā€œto extrapolate is to infer something not explicitly stated from existing informationā€ So that fits the criteria right?
