Neat thing with the new physics... as of the latest update, you can gain momentum in a manual by swerving left and right.
Post Body

This didn't work in previous builds, but is a nice touch, try it. You can do a manual from standstill and rotate left and right a bit on the triggers to build up some movement, and then keep going in slightly wider arcs to build momentum.

Confirmed it works by coming to a stop on a spot that was a hair inclined (board slowly slid backward after lifting my foot), and then did a manny and moved right away. Sure enough, it stopped the backward momentum and started me moving forward.

Pretty cool, and between this, caspers, primos, and darkslides you can really get down with some of those Rodney Mullen style tricks.
