Curious: Can a dog be trained to alert fevers?
Post Body

I’ve had a lot of people suggest I get a service dog to perform mobility tasks and alerts for my disabilities. I’m considering it but not convinced how helpful it would be.

One alert that would be helpful is knowing if I had a fever. I get them regularly because of my disability and often can’t tell, but it’s a sign I need to stop what I’m doing and rest.

Can dogs smell or sense fevers?
