I had been thinking this a lot even before the episode when SK finally brought it up - just hearing Adnan talk, it sounds like he is definitely, without a doubt innocent. But what if that is just because he REALLY does believe that he is innocent, even though he isn't?
I'm sometimes on this side of the case - I'd believe that he did it but doesn't even know it. Like, whether or not he did it...I don't think he is lying, necessarily. Especially with his emotions tied to the case, talking to Sarah, and his wanting to get the DNA tests done at the very end of the series.
