I have a small septic tank, roughly 3’x3’x4’, that is equipped with a pump pump.
When the water reaches the design height it activates the pump then discharges the liquid to the distribution box.
I’m wondering if this small tank is the “septic” tank or a dosing tank? The house has not been occupied for many months but there does not appear to be any solids inside the tank.
I assume there has to be a baffle or something to keep solids from going to the leach field, but not sure. I don’t any other tanks but it could be buried.
Any ideas??
