Aerostream and smell
Post Body

Morning, question and I don't know if any of you might know.

Been using an aerostream for a while. Replaced pump a few years ago along with the stone in the tank.

When using the aerator, there is a smell and none when off.

Tank is flowing ok as far as I can tell. Filter is ok and not clogged.

No blowout in field or wet spots.

Installed two tuff tite risers and caps are on and seal intact.

There is only a smell when running.

Not the vent pipe on roof, that is on the other side of house and no smell there.

Reached out to aerostream, my kid and gf used some aggressive antibiotics so they had me shock the tank and then add some powder he sent me complimentary.

Still smells when on. Not sure if I should rebuild the rubber gaskets in pump or change stone.

Currently running aerostream on timer at night so less smell.

Any thoughts other than what I am doing?

Tank was pumped in November and yearly and septic guy said it looked fine

Thanks for any input
