16- Toaster has been diagnosed with Kidney failure and I need advice coping/preparing
Post Body

I've had her since she was born, we've been together for more than half my life at this point and when I think about not having her around, I immediately start to tear up. I've never lost a pet before, and honestly I've never lost a human either so I have no idea how to deal with these feelings. The vet didn't have a timeline, just that it's stage one and we caught it early, but as we all know there isn't a solution to kidney failure; the cold realization that she won't be here forever has sunk in. I love her with all my heart and I know I'm not alone in this experience, any kind words or tips would be so deeply appreciated 💝
