I adopted a 3-year-old named Dolly on Thursday and had posted for opinions about taking a senior kitty home. I talked to the shelter again and ended up taking Snazz home as foster-to-adopt until her URI is gone and she gets a dental cleaning done (hopefully all finished on Monday). Snazz is 12 and was surrendered because her owner died, but her sister was adopted without her.
She's penned in one room and Dolly in another, and I'll do slow intros once both are healed from Snazz's URI and Dolly's spay and are comfortable.
The hardest part is giving them both enough attention because they both meow for me already! I hope they will get along and be good friends.
Here's Snazz already enjoying a new toy right after treat time.
