Looking for advice on how to get books into smaller retail bookstores.
Post Body

Hi there. My book released 2 weeks ago and the launch has gone really well! We have sold several hundred copies of our nonfiction book priced at 19.99 for paper and 9.99 for ebook. Nice reviews so far and amazon algos have been kind to us. That being said, a really big lifetime goal of mine is to physically see my book on the shelves of a store. Literally any store. It might be irrational and the economics not really inline, but I want to have some footprint in a bookstore as just a bucket list thing.

I created a sell sheet, have my book on ingram with the favorable terms (55% wholesale and returnable), I sent emails out to bookstores in my area with my pitch, sell sheet, cover, and an offer to come show it off in person. No replies yet! Is there any other tips for going about this?
