Hey everyone. Looking for some advice.
I published my first book back in October of last year with a cover I made myself. Needless to say, I ended up not being happy with its overall look and have since hired an artist to re-design that cover as well as design a cover for the next book in the series, so now the books have a matching art style.
I am preparing to release book 2 soon, and am debating whether or not to republish book 1 with a new ISBN so Amazon doesn't ship copies with the old cover to my new customers. I know for a fact Amazon printed more copies of my first book than were initially ordered, and I would like to avoid that cover from being shipped out.
What do y'all think? Bite the bullet and republish with a new ISBN, or just let Amazon send out old copies until that supply is spent?
