I’m turned 25 a month ago and realised I’m slowly seeing friends around me establishing careers (becoming junior doctors, nurses, lab researchers) and achieving life goals (buying houses, getting married) and there’s me.
I feel burnt out from my job working in hospitality and too tired to focus on my own ambition to delve into freelance videography. This causes me to be somewhat insecure about my abilities which makes me to lose my ambition to move toward my goal.
Don’t get me wrong, I know everyone grows at their own rate and I have come so far since high school. I used to have awful anxiety and no ambitions in life to moving away from home, becoming an independent person with a full time job and met so many people through college, church, filmmaking and made great friends.
Shit, I think I just talked myself out of self doubt.
I may not be the person I want to be, but reflecting on the progress you’ve made can encourage you to make further changes to your life to work towards your goal ☺️
