For the longest time I had felt a bit depressed on and off, would need caffeine for functioning, and would go on spurts of anxiety. For some it made sense, high stress times or just like sucking sometimes, but beneath all that I did not realize it, but I had some health issues beyond just needing anti depressants. I decided to get a test to see about various hormonal things, and it was south of whack. I had joked about different things in a broscience way or my mom had mentioned to get my thyroid checked, but I thoughts being tired or pissed at the world was "normal". While the world is nuts, it makes me wonder if maybe a good chunk of how I reacted was not the issue itself, but underlying biological issues. This has made me realize I should improve my health. I try to walk 7 miles a day, trying to balance calories and lose weight, but beyond that it seemed like I was fine, but underneath there were issue.
All this to say take care of your health and be an advocate and don't stop keeping an eye on things as you may be in for a surprise if you don't.
