Does anyone know books about Stoicism, and Emotional Intelligence?

I have noticed that I have problems regarding my emotional intelligence. My weakness is peer pressure, my conscience, easily feel guilty, and a sucker.
I wanna increase my emotional quotient. I am not sure if Stoicism will help me with that but I am open for suggestions. Besides I found it a hobby to read the new philosophical views of self-improvement.
Is Ego is the enemy a helpful book for my EQ situation?
