I want to learn how to throw stuff I don't use away?

Post Body

For context as much as i hate to admit, I'm somewhat a hoarder. I rarely use any of my items I have apart from my phone, pc and sometimes watch tv or a dvd.

However for the rest of stuff i have, like books that i thought i'd read but never bothered years down the line and only kept them like every other item i never bother using, 'I may use it *one day* ' and I never have used them for over the last 5 years hell even year of moving out of parents i've never touched them. I guess I keep them for nostalgia sake. I decided to put all the stuff i don't use into boxes but when I was putting stuff away I started to physically shake for some reason almost as if my mind is trying to fight against it i guess.

I guess the main point of my question is, when the time comes in two months (time frame i've given myself of not touching the items in the boxes and only keeping what i take out) how do i just overcome the fear of letting go? Like i know there only items but for some reason i really struggle letting go of stuff..
