Well I have had horrible uterine fibroids for years though my first tumor was over 6lbs had to have an open myoectomy basically similar to a c section to remove then 2 years later another one around 4 lbs and last Tuesday I had more tumors but had to have a hysterectomy. For me due to size and symptoms it was life threatening since I would go into hemorrhaging often and my hemoglobin and blood amounts would go below 6 meaning I had to have consistent blood transfusion to prevent from bleeding out often along with iron infusion and it was also putting pressure and am causing other organ issues. So the worry was I would go into hemorrhage in my sleep and not wake up and just go into shock and organ failure.
