Is cutting over a healed scar bad?

Post Body

I've been free of self harm for over a year now, probably around a year and a half. Anyway, recently I relapsed and cut myself mostly on my upper leg with a razor (not a singular blade, so the wounds were not deep). However, I had scars there from previous SH and accidently cut over them. I've heard from other people that cutting over a scar can be dangerous, and I've grown slightly worried.

Is cutting over a scar bad? Will it mean the cuts take longer to heal or possibly heal worse?
