For more context, this is a question that is asked when I call my employer-provided insurance's mental health section. I have a set of free counseling services available through my medical insurance. I'm looking to take advantage of the program for stress and anxiety management issues. Thing is, I have always lied on the title question for fear of what a truthful answer would entail. They ask for your account info before asking if you are thinking of harming yourself, so it is not full anonymity. Before you can get any information about the area counsellors or the free sessions, you're asked to answer this question.
What happens when you answer yes? I don't want to comment truthfully on this question for fear that it does more harm than good.
