I have a good deal of recent scars on my arm. And I personally don't cover them up cause I don't give a fuck if people see em or judge me for em. But when it's hot out and the sun is out they immediately begin to sting and it feels like someone is taking a knife and reopening them. I've never experienced this before even though I've been self harming for 10 years. I know it's probably a sensitivity to the sun because scars are sensitive tissue, and some were particularly deep.. But it's so incredibly painful and I just wonder if anyone else has experienced this. A friend recommended sunscreen but im not sure it would actually help with the pain. If anyone has any experience with it I'd appreciate any advice
