I got to thinking about this the other day. I know that what Netflix wants is for each person to have their own, completely separate Netflix accounts, but within a household, that's simply not going to happen often.
My boyfriend and I are broke and not going to spend another ten bucks a month just to get my horror movies off his Netflix account, but we would be willing to spend two or three dollars to have separate profiles under the same account that would sort his favorites from mine.
Netflix already as an option (at least on the ps3) to choose between normal Netflix and "Just for Kids" Netflix, so I don't feel like it'd be to far of a stretch. Of course, I'm not a programmer, so I suppose there could be something I can't foresee. Still, I feel that, in the long run, Netflix stand to gain more money from going this route than they will just expecting people to each have a separate account.
