Does anyone remember that one funny D&D story?
Post Body

Once upon a time, years ago when the internet was still young and trolls were things that lived under caves, I stumbled upon a brilliant story told by a guy pissed off at his dice that always failed at the worst time.

His friends had gotten ambushed on a stupid side quest, leaving him alone to fight the big bad. Instead of giving up, he decided as long as he was going to lose he'd go out in style (and take out as many of the fuckers as he could before he bit it). So he hid himself in the forest, laid traps, caught enemies by surprise, even did a flying leap and took out the dragon the big bad was riding, leaving the two of them face to face in a clearing in the forest, with most of the enemy army dead around them. Near dead from the beating he'd taken, he placed all of his faith and strength in one blow...

And critical failed the roll.

Twice.

Infuriated, he threw the dice in frustration and stormed out of the room. When he calmed down, he checked the table for the damage caused by a critical, critical fail... and it read "kills you and the person next to you" =D

The way he told it was far better than I could do justice, so I'd really appreciate it if anyone could point me towards the original story.
