I have been lurking on reddit for sometime and most of the posts (including this subreddit) is posted by men who want to be in relationship but couldn't. Look at r4r like subreddits the situation is same.

Considering most countries around the world have their population divided close to 50/50 (not exactly but there is no huge difference either) to both genders, why do men seek relationship more than women? Do women feel the same way but don't initiate anything?

If you can please write your country and how it is in your country. If you have some scientific explanation or experience based explanation I am sure most people would like to read.
