For the last 2 or 3 months I have been very active in the field, approaching women, giving poetry (one of my favorites), getting and giving phone numbers. I've had a few dates, made a few friends, and also created some tense situations.
The most best of all these approaches has been the woman I recently went out with. I was driving into the park and caught a glimpse of her. I was headed to the spot I always go to and decided I'd stop and maybe say something. She was passing me faster than I would've guessed so I just popped my head out the window said, "excuse me, I think you're beautiful. What's your name?"
This was one of the few times I said something without any real expectation. We went out last weekend. Make of this what you will.
I'll happily answer and questions, since I'm not going into great detail.
To me, there is no playbook. There is only being natural. What is natural? The first thought, that first moment of action, that first desire. My advice? Meditate on your actions, on your intentions, on your desires. Accept who you are and be well you are. Don't wear a mask, unless it's natural. Who is your true self? What are you really? Live it to feel out.
You come to this subreddit for advice, but you need no advice. Stop thinking about it, stop asking others. Look at what's going on within you and experience. Act on first impulses and see what happens.
