So I am a bit puzzled and perplexed. When I try to be outgoing and try to introduce myself to women, it is usually not terrible but leads nowhere. However, if I am so deep in my head or I am hanging with my friends and women do random shit like give me five bucks to watch their phone or ask to taste my slice of pizza. Sometimes it is not as dramatic and they just want to talk and I tend to do better with that, but I have been told I am average looking and do shit on online dating. What is up with this as I am a bit confused. I have the body of Ricky Gervis and the personality of Frasier Crane (and a bit autistic to boot).

The only thing is sometimes I am caught off guard and don't know how to process random things

I am not saying all of them are flirting, but I was playing the girl giving me 5 dollars off until she started talking to me, but then her sister came up to me and said I better be helping her. I was a bit drunk and played it off, but then it was my turn to play pool. Also it is hard for me to have my head tied behind my back and at the same time put in effort if that makes sense. I don't know how to go from fixing my bathroom, thinking about getting an MBA/JD, Michel Hollenbecq, and how the Civil War was just the English and Irish skirmishes in the New World, to... Formulating a response to something random they just did. If they are just talking it is a tad bit easier, but the pizza thing caught me off guard. It could just be something random too.

Overall, I just want to understand how to use my strengths to my advantage, as that seems to work better. I am not saying I will never approach a woman again, but I just want to understand why this is working and strengthen it.
