A buddy of mine does armed security for a series of synagogues. I'm thinking about applying with their company because the pay is better than what I currently make and they let you run your own gear. They're running 6 armed officer per facility along with a police officer during functions.
Anyone have experience with doing security for religious locations? My area is heavily Catholic and most of the churches I've been to don't have professional armed security. It's generally considered socially unacceptable to carry firearms in places of worship. That in itself might be a byproduct of living in a decently "progressive" city.
Anyone have experience? The company I'm looking at applying with also does EP a handful of Jewish & Israeli political figures.

like this church i forget what it was called, where the head of the church was going on about prayer etc protecting them from covid. someone said basically, why dont you go to the hospitals full of covid pacients to pray etc then, oh wait they don't have donation boxes. its sad because it gives religious people a bad name when in fact there are some really lovely religious people out there and places of worship who do great work for the community and stuff
