My post manager is cool but now he is furious with me because I want to leave and join the rover program which pays more and it will help me move up and get a security clearance and other certs, so I can make more money. I quit my other job elsewhere, so I can focus on a career with security. He is saying he wont release me until he can find another person to replace me but prior to working for him, he told me it took him months to find someone. Ive been with him since March. I dont have months to make shitty pay. I live alone in a high cost state. I will drown if I stay at the same crappy pay much longer. This program could change my life drastically and I'm willing to quit and reapply with the program if I have to.
