Project 2025 has made me irritated. The conservatives are way more organized, so much so that they’ve got themselves a 180 day plan for when they win. We’ve gotta combat this and get way more militant and organized. Everyone online is a naysayer and says the left will never get along but nobody tries. We’ve gotta get all of our people together (progressive media, organizing groups, politicians) and form a unified strategy on how to beat these corporate democrats and crazy ass republicans. Everyone in principle agrees on the theory that government is a force for good. Let’s rally around that and devise a strategy on how to gain power. We’ll have our disagreements (social democrats, socialists, etc…) but we gotta find a way to work together.
The country can’t afford to keep going down this path. I’ve seen success in two major places, unions and local politics. Unions are the fastest way to get workers higher wages and better benefits. Local politics is much less corrupt and has yielded better results, especially through ballot measure. I believe local politics moving in a progressive direction state by state could force national politics to follow in some areas. This is just one person opinion and I’m curious to hear what everyone else think but if anyone is interested in organizing some kind of united organization together, let’s do it!
