Postal Service mess up for the first time
Post Body

I can't believe what happened today Rip.

According to the tracking link i checked last night (around like 12) My gift was supposed to arrive today between 09:45 and 12:15.

I put an alarm at 09:30 so i could be up in time.

At 9Am I hear a faint sound that sounds similar to the doorbell ringing. Often when I'm expecting a package, I will hear the faint doorbell sound in my half sleeping state and run to open the door only to realise I imagined it. This has happened multiple times already.

Now since it was too early and it was so faint for only a second I really thought i was imagining it again, so I stayed in bed and fell asleep again.

When I woke up at 9:30 there was a note in the mailbox saying I missed my package and to pick it up Tomorrow after 3Pm.

Now I'm kind of disappointed in myself for not running to the door and the postal service for coming way too early.

The reason I didn't hear the doorbell properly is because my bedroom door and the hallway door were both closed when the bell rang. I would keep them open the night before so I'd be able to hear the doorbell for sure, but my mom in law gets up at 6Am and watches tv pretty loudly. There's no door between the living room and bedrooms so I would've woken up even earlier.

So now I have to wait even longer to see what I got! Let's hope it's worth it 😁
