I have a 2007 Mac Mini, IIRC it's the 2ghz model(might be the 1.83... been a long time since I used the thing). It's a Core 2 Duo with Intel integrated graphics in any event. It's got either 2GB or 4GB ram, I don't remember if I upgraded it when I upgrade my MacBook memory. I'd check, but I don't have it set up at the moment, just came out of storage.
The use of the system will be logging in, going to an AFK area, activating furniture, and then ignoring it for a few hours. So it doesn't need to run any client particularly well, it basically just needs to run some viewer at all.
As it's probably wildly irresponsible to put Snow Leopard on the internet, at least without firewalls I'm too lazy to set up, I'll be installing Linux, probably Ubuntu MATE or XUbuntu. Maybe Arch with minimal dependencies to run SL. Anyways, I'll need a Linux client. I like Firestorm but even if some of the official requirements are more soft requirements than hard ones it looks like a bad idea on my Mini.
Are any viewers likely to work for this particular case? Avatar maintenance tasks that require I know what she actually looks like will happen on my gaming PC, a much more modern(though still fairly dated) i5 7600 system. So that side of the equation isn't an issue.
