I’ve only lived in Seattle a little bit, and today I was hit by a massive wave of loneliness. I don’t know anyone in the city except for people from work and people I’ve met on dating apps. I was spoiled by my awesome group of friends in New York who were brilliant, ambitious, and always pushing me and challenging me to grow as a person.

I’m not pretentious. I dropped out of school during covid and I definitely don’t think I’m smarter than anyone. The kind of energy I want is someone who loves something and is excited to talk about it, not someone insecure who tries to “umm ackshually” every point.

I’m interested in meeting anyone who feels like this post speaks to them. I’d like to start off just planning to be friends, but if we hit it off I’m happy to see where it goes. Physically, I’m tall, slender, and “conventionally attractive”. I have curly brown hair. If you include a picture in your DM, I’ll send one back. I would only be interested in becoming romantically involved with someone around my age, but I’d love to be friends with you even if you’re not.

I can’t host right now, but I will be able to later. Invite me to your place, tell me a bar to meet you at, or send me an address in a dark alley and cut out my kidneys (actually I changed my mind please don’t do this). I’m free tonight, tomorrow, and Tuesday. I don’t work until Wednesday.

In school I studied Roman history and 3d animation. I love early 20th century black and white movies and big band jazz music, but I’m not one of those freaks who says “the world was better back then.”

I know this subreddit is mostly for hookups and so this might be a long shot, but I’m hopeful I can meet someone cool.
