I know this is not the typical use of this sub, so hopefully it is OK for me to post here.
I love to try to help other people. That makes me so happy. I would really enjoy having someone to volunteer with.
I think anyone who has the kind of heart where this sounds like fun must be a little like me, and we might get along well? It seems so much easier to connect with someone else around the goal of helping others - enjoying one another's company and the feeling that helping brings.
Maybe we could volunteer at a food bank, or go to a hippotherapy stable and help disabled kids ride horses, or maybe there is something you are passionate about? I volunteer with the homeless and do hospice volunteer work currently, so maybe we could find a way to do that also, eventually.
I am in my mid 30s, lean, and with blonde hair/blue eyes. I am rather quiet. I was born intersex and am transfem. I do not make a big deal of that, but I know that for some it is a deal breaker even in this setting (understandable), and I want to respect that.
I really prefer other women ... I just find it easier to interact with women than men.
Happy to send a pic and/or meet in a public place first so you know I am not one of those vanishingly rare serial killers who loves to volunteer, haha.
