Construction equipment and activity coming to the Sweyolocken Boat Launch in June

The boat launch will be closed to vehicle, foot, and boat traffic for up to a year.

We will need large amounts of equipment and materials for the work at the Sweyolocken pump station. To make room for storage of these items and to keep people safe, we will close the access road from Bellevue Way SE to the Sweyolocken Boat Launch. The area south of the pump station will be closed as well.

The I-90 Trail will be closed to the east and southwest of the Sweyolocken Pump Station during construction. Detours for trail traffic will be alongside streets near the South Bellevue Park & Ride to the I-90 Bike Trail near 108th Avenue SE.

(It's not clear if this relates to the primary I-90 bike trail or to the access trail from the P&R - from the description of the detour I'd guess that it's just the access trail, but I would expect that some impact on the main trail is unavoidable.)
