I have been working in the construction industry as a superintendent for the past 7.5 years since leaving the Navy in 2016. I have been laid off twice in the last year and am interested in job stability. I earned my MBA in 2022 but have found it useless in the construction industry as a whole. After my layoff last week I've decided to move into scrum. I'm hoping my MBA and experience in managing projects in the navy and in construction will be beneficial. I have a good friend so earned her CSM and is a successful scrum master now. My question is should I work towards CSM or PSM I? I've read up on the differences but I'm wondering which will make me more employable? I look forward to your thoughts
