Interview questions for PO
Post Body

Hello everyone. I’ve made it to the final round for a Product Owner position. We’ve already talked about a lot of different things such as prioritizing, roadmaps, coordination, and communication.

Tomorrow’s interview will be with the COO. What questions would you want to ask this person? I’ve asked about company culture, and I’m thinking about maybe vision and leadership questions for the organization.

Edit - Here are the questions I've come up with so far:

  • How much autonomy does the team have in their decision making? Can the Dev's decide to do pair programming, or are we allowed to change how Story sizing works?

  • How much experimentation do the teams normally engage in? (don't know if I'm super fond of this question yet)

  • Are there currently any organizational changes underway? (their company is acquiring some other companies)

  • How is the technology group of today different than it was a year ago? How will it look different in a years time?
