Has anyone ever been asked to do something by a surgeon that you were not comfortable doing?
Post Body
Today I had an lap lower anterior colectomy that opened and was just me and the Dr. During the surgery he had me use the bovie while he held tissue and use the ligasure which I hae used a couple times before. He also wanted me to operate the EEA stapler which I replied im pretty sure im not suppose use and I didnt want to be responsible for stapling someones asshole to there vagina. Luckly the nurse in the room orientating was also a first assist and scrubbed in and did it.
