Hoping this can be done with either Scrivener or Scapple in a simple way, but for those of you who are writing multi-generational or complex families, how do you record it for your notes?
Currently have the trees in Scapple, but it's a bit too messy; I've looked at moving it into proper family tree software, but because my writing is currently set in the past, it keeps complaining they are all stupid ages. Not to mention that the interface is super user-unfriendly.
I'm close to buying a massive corkboard and using a set of pins to move and arrange stuff in the real as it may be more manageable.
